I got an email from my bride who’s wedding was last Sunday, wow that was quick!!!!!

Hi Amelia,

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help on Sunday. Everyone was really pleased with their hair and amazingly mine stayed in place all day!

It was really nice to meet you, and thanks for being a lovely calming influence!

I had a lovely email from a bride today…………..

Hi Amelia,

We are now home from a fantastic honeymoon, I think overall we’ve had the most excilarating few weeks of our lives so far!! Our wedding day was so special and everyone made comments about my hair and make up as well as the bridesmaids. I wanted to say a huge thank you to you for everything. You made everything so easy and stress free and I was so happy with how we all looked. If anyone asks for a recommendation I will not hesitate to give them your name.

I had a wedding last Saturday in Great Finborough in Suffolk, the bride had a short bob haircut and wanted her hair up so this is what I did.

Bridesmaid call

I had a call today from a bridesmaid from a wedding last year. She is getting married in 2013 and wants to book me because she was so impressed with me at her friends wedding last year! (What flattery!!) She also told me how her hubby proposed, she broke her leg and he wrote ‘will you marry me’ on her plaster. How sweet is that!!

Weddings

I had my first wedding of 2012 today in Cambridge, I was up at 5am and the on road at 6.30. I started prepping the bride at 8.30. It was excellent. I got the bride and her two bridesmaids ready, I did their hair and make-up. They were a lovely group of girls and we had a laugh!! Here are the pics!

False Economy

Why do brides spend an absolute fortune on a dress and accessories and then more money on a photographer to capture an everlasting image of themself on their big day but don’t invest in professional hair and beauty services. Hair that is going to last all day regardless of weather conditions, make-up that will go the distance. You want to look fabulous at the ceremony, wonderful in the photographs, you want to wow your evening guests and seduce your husband at the end of the evening. Professional hairdressers and make-up artists do this all day every day, why not use their expertise. You wouldn’t want to look at the photographs and regret not having spent that little bit extra. As with everything in life ‘you get what you pay for’.
